but A Dangerous Thing is as good a place as any. what a song. The Sense of lurking menace is palpable. Every song on this album is individual and superb. original melodies which avoid the obvious, same goes for the arrangements and performances. what a voice Chrissy has. unbelievable. Don't be silly, buy it. Favorite track: A Dangerous Thing.

James Barry From the anthemic chorus of Under the Headlights to the epic finale of The Flood, Hotel Utopia is just an absolute joy to listen too. An album beautifully crafted, with outstanding musicianship and the joyus tones of Chrissy Mostyn's vocals. Quite possibly their most complete album to date. wonderful !! Favorite track: The Flood.

Eleventh Earl of Blah Very hard to pick a favourite from this. The songs are individually memorable, but there's also a great sense of flow from one track to the next - the sign of a great album. It's very easy to press play and just lose yourself... Favorite track: Safe.

Wonderful, beautiful, densely layered music. I'm glad I gave this album several headphone listens before commenting. It did not immediately strike a chord with me, but the more I listened the more I began to understand and appreciate how fantastically rich and deep the sound is. For fans of atmospheric and melodic prog, this is an excellent addition. Bass and drum work are exquisite! paliojen_black

This is the most beautiful symphonic progressive music I have heard since I first heard Yes' Magnification nearly 20 years ago. Robert Reed's orchestrations are magnificent, and are very much on par with Trevor Rabin's film scores as well as Larry Groupe's score for Magnification. I am a french horn player, and his soaring horn parts are some of the best I have ever heard. For some reason I could not select Part1: Sacrifice as my favorite track. It is indeed my favorite. luckeydoug1

A second EP from this trio, who do not feature guitar in their instrumentation. Despite that, it is a very satisfying progressive rock outfit, which veers into pop territory at times. The layered vocals are the pivot from which the drummer and both keyboardists turn.
